I have been trying to sell this Amiga 1200 tower case for over a year without luck so in a desperate final attempt I am going to stuff it with a MicroniK Z2 busboard, a Phase 5 BlizzardPPC and some other goodies to try and sell as a complete A1200T system.
For this to succeed I need a PC-keyboard adapter, so if any of my loyal readers happen to have a PC-keyboard adapter for an A1200 they want to sell just contact me and we can work out a deal.

Wow, this weekend have been one of the most intense Amiga weekends in a long time from a personal view.
Amiga Friday
Last Friday I went to pick up my Deneb USB2 card for my Amiga 4000. I was actually expecting to have it fully installed and running in my trusty A4000 in one hour, top two hour. I mean it is only a silly USB card (it is more than that as you will see in the future Deneb Amiga USB card review). (more…)

Deneb USB 2.0 Zorro card for Amiga computers
I received a Deneb USB 2.0 card for my Amiga 4000 today. I thought I would write a short review today after an hour of playing with it or so, however I have forgotten that back when “computers used to be fun”, plug and play did not exist

I went through my harddrive looking for old Webprojects and I found some pictures I snapped when I tried to convert an Amiga 500 keyboard into an external keyboard.
I never finished the job because I got an A4000 quite soon after beginning the project which came with an original external Amiga keyboard.

This is such a clean mod. An A500 with a Supra turbo, an IDE-interface/memory expansion and a custom top so the CD-rom can be integrated on top of the HD-controller. Very nice!

Here is the backside of the custom cover for the HD-controller, very nice work.

This is actually not a bad idea, I wonder how IK+ plays with a proper arcade stick!

Back in the day Amiga and C64 cases used to be spray painted at demo parties, those days are long gone but the paint is still left.

Wow, leave it to the Germans to come up with a modern replacement for the A1000 motherboard, I want one (but I dont want to solder it myself lol)
I am typically always impressed by the German Amiga scene, nobody hacks hardware more hardcore than German Amiga fanatics and I do not think there is any place outside Germany with more badass bad to the bone, power packed, action packed, muscle packed hardcore x-treme Amiga systems oozing with liquid nitrogen needed to cool down their homemade tetra 060 turbo-boards. Now you can turn off your Pegasos 2 next-gen Amiga from the workbench!
As lame as it sounds I have actually been quite annoyed that I can not shut off my next-gen Pegasos 2 based AmigaOS 4.1 system from the Workbench. I mean this is not a classic AT-system with an old school mechanic on-off switch, it is just like a PC, an ATX-system where you should be able to shut off the computer software wise. (more…)
