Building an Amiga 1200 tower, part 1: mounting motherboard and BlizzardPPC

I have been trying to sell this Amiga 1200 tower case for over a year without luck so in a desperate final attempt I am going to stuff it with a MicroniK Z2 busboard, a Phase 5 BlizzardPPC and some other goodies to try and sell as a complete A1200T system.
For this to succeed I [...]

Cooling off from the Amiga

Wow, this weekend have been one of the most intense Amiga weekends in a long time from a personal view.
Amiga Friday
Last Friday I went to pick up my Deneb USB2 card for my Amiga 4000. I was actually expecting to have it fully installed and running in my trusty A4000 in one hour, top two [...]

Deneb USB card for the Amiga brings back the fun in computing again

I received a Deneb USB 2.0 card for my Amiga 4000 today. I thought I would write a short review today after an hour of playing with it or so, however I have forgotten that back when “computers used to be fun”, plug and play did not exist
Please, do not tell anyone I [...]

Once upon a time [...]

Cool Amiga hardware pictures from cool party

I am typically always impressed by the German Amiga scene, nobody hacks hardware more hardcore than German Amiga fanatics and I do not think there is any place outside Germany with more badass bad to the bone, power packed, action packed, muscle packed hardcore x-treme Amiga systems oozing with liquid nitrogen needed to cool down [...]

Turn off your Pegasos 2 from the Amiga Workbench

Now you can turn off your Pegasos 2 next-gen Amiga from the workbench!
As lame as it sounds I have actually been quite annoyed that I can not shut off my next-gen Pegasos 2 based AmigaOS 4.1 system from the Workbench. I mean this is not a classic AT-system with an old school mechanic on-off switch, [...]

Deneb Amiga USB 2.0 Zorro card

I have been promising myself to purchase a Deneb USB 2.0 card for my Amiga 4000 for close to a year now, finally I gave in and decided to get one!
It was a tough decision since I have wanted to get an Indivision for my A4000 for quite some time too, however I guess there [...]
