A well worn but still functional Commodore 1084 monitor
It seems a bit poor of me to write a post about the Commodore 1084 monitor, I mean, here I am surrounded by PPC boards, A4000 boxes, A1200 towers and Amiga desktops all around me. Instead of even more focus on those high end super hardware of yesterday I decide to write about a silly CRT in these days of 52″+ entertainment screens. (more…)

ZorRAM 128/256 MB memory expansion for Amiga systems with Zorro3 bus
Typically I do not promote products I do not own and having not made up my mind yet if I should add one of these memory expansions to my Amiga 4000 it would be dangerous for me to write about it without be tempted to purchase a card in the future even though my A4000 is already packing 128MB fast mem. You may remember my home made Amiga 500 86 pin to 100 pin Zorro slot adapter that I built a couple of years ago.
It did work with some Zorro 2 cards but it failed to work with the Buddha Phoenix IDE-card (which was the reason I built it).
I always wanted more professional solution if I ever want to mess around with Zorro cards on the Amiga 500 again so when I noticed these cheap A500 Zorro card adapters where on sale on Amibay I ordered one without hesitation. (more…)
