Bremse is “brake” in German language and Amiga bremse is a cool little hardware device with one switch and one rotary dial that clips on the 68k CPU socket on the A500/A2000 motherboard board.

The switch has three positions:
Off – Amiga bremse is off, Amiga works as normal.
On – You can now adjust the speed with the rotary dial so you can play fast and hardcore shoot’em’up games in 1 FPS so you can break the high score more easily.
Halt – Amiga is now paused.

You can either view Amiga bremse as a cool hardware device for your Amiga or another sorry excuse for you to drill a hole and add yet another cool and neat little polished steel switch to the case of your favorite 16-bit Amiga
BTW why not check out my old Amiga 4000 mini tower, loaded with 060, Graphics board etc…
