In a perfect world…
This is just a fake actually. I do not have my A2000 on my desk, usually it lives under my bed. And usually my desk is not so clean either although I try to have it organized to minimize clutter.
I got this Amiga 2000 in a deal together with four A500. I think the Amiga 2000 is really nice, booth to look at and to play with. The case is very easy to open and has lots of room over the Zorro slots. One area I do not like in the case is the area above the CPU. It is not so easy to remove the bridge holding the PSU and floppy drives whenever you need access to the motherboard thanks to all the cables in that area.
Since its arrival at my home I have expanded this A2000 a degree, I have a Commodore A2630 030 turbo board with 4 MB fast memory. I have a Commodore 2 MB Zorro expansion and a Village Tronic Picasso 2 graphics board in it. I used to have a Buddha Flash Phoenix edition inside it but I am considering moving over to SCSI since I found some nice SCSI CD-rom units in the same color of beige/brown the A2000 front has. Next I would really like to mount a quality scandoubler/flicker fixer in the video slot. Just classic “bad to the bone” solid and stable “x-treme edition” extraordinaire custom tuned Amiga hardware.
But the ultimate add on would off course be the Blizzard 2060 060 turbo board with 128 MB fast memory.
I better put my A2000 under the bed again!

Kudos from one braniac to another.
