Amiga Zorro 3 memory expansion prototype
News of a new Zorro 3 memory expansion hit all major Amiga sites today, this was totally unexpected and very positive news, I think.
According to early news, the card will be released in two versions, one 128 MB large and another 256 MB large, memory will be soldered onto the half length Zorro 3 card (I can already hear complaints why there is no slot for SDRAM or why there is no 4 GB version, who cares… why is the earth round?).
Anyways, even though I already have 128MB + 16MB in my Amiga 4000 and never run out of memory I am still somewhat tempted.
The memory expansion will be sold on AmigaKit, it is made by the same dude who made the Deneb card and I think Mr Individual Computer also have a part in the construction of this nice expansion, makes you wonder what else cool hardware these people could produce for the classic Amiga in the future?
