Today I launched my latest Amiga blog called ”Vintage Amiga Programs”. The last two years have seen me focusing mainly only on Amiga hardware but I think it is time for me to also get back into Workbench again.
There are many programs I have grown fond of in Workbench so it would be nice to fill up a blog with information about them.
In January I replaced my main workstation and I have decided to go through the hassle of setting up a couple of Workbench systems in WinUAE for my real hardware and for WinUAE so this is the perfect oppurtunity to merge two projects into one.
If people are complaining about reinstalling Windows I think they should experience a fresh install of Workbench 3.0 through a patched and custom tuned system. It is a time consuming task but if it is going to me made right I will want to do it by hand and not use any of the new “preinstalled” “distributions” of Workbench such as Amikit or Amiga in a box.
So check out “Vintage Amiga Programs”, I am probably going to add a post in the week there too, just as I am doing with this blog.
And no, this does not mean I lost interest in Amiga hardware. I have two scandoublers on preorder right now
