Things are moving forward for Jens of Individual Computing and the new A1200 and A600 accelerator cards. The ACA630 as I think it is called in prototype form is now physically fully working in prototype form.

The ACA630 Amiga 600 card can fit together with the A603 memory card and ECS Indivision scandoubler without problems inside the tiny A600 case. You will not however be able to fit the internal floppy drive if you want to run the internal scandoubler.

Jens, hardware guru of Amiga parts have made some interesting posts on a1k.org about production of new 030 Amiga 1200 and 600 turbocards. The Amiga 600 turbocard is especially interesting considering old Apollo A630 cards go for as much money as second hand PPC  can go for on the eBay.

Lets hope to see them on the Amiga market before the year ends, I am already looking for an Amiga 600 ;)

Amazing whats next?

There have been a few accelerators made for the Amiga 600. They are notoriously rare these days since most people just got a faster turbo board for their A1200 back in 97-98. Their popularity have only got bigger in recent times -Who does not want a small genuine 68k Amiga with a bit more speed boost than a stock 7.14MHz 68000 CPU?
